• our latest project: china

    we've been travelling through china in the last few years. and here is the result. all 48 images from bejing, pingyao, shenyang, dalian, wuxue and huangshi can now be found on our project-site.

  • forbidden city

    the forbidden city was the chinese imperial palace from the ming dynasty to the end of the qing dynasty. it is located in the center of beijing, china.

    built in 1406 to 1420, the complex consists of 980 buildings and covers 72 ha. the forbidden city is listed by unesco as the largest collection of preserved ancient wooden structures in the world.

  • bottega veneta for ad

    bottega veneta is an Italian luxury goods house best known for its leather goods. it is headquartered in vicenza, in the veneto region of northeastern italy.  
    we spent a few days there to shoot the new headquarter in the villa montebello for ad germany.

  • pingyao

    pingyao is an exceptionally well-preserved example of a traditional han chinese city, founded in the 14th century. its urban fabric shows the evolution of architectural styles and town planning in imperial china over five centuries.
    therefore pingyao has been added to the unesco world heritage list in 1997.

    the image was done at shaxiang jie, a main street in the old town of pingyao. shaxiang jie means "sandbox access", according to google's translator...

  • bunker munich

    here is a bunker in munich, built according to plans by karl meitinger of brannekämpe. it is a seven-storey solid concrete building on a rectangular plan with a flat roof. the bunker was sold by the federal government in 2010 to a private investor.   luckily this investor is our dear client euroboden, so we've been commissioned to shoot this exciting project.
